Northrop Grumman is seeking a Military Trainer. The location of this position is at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Northrop Grumman is in need of exercise support staff for simulation driven command post exercises to train Brigade, Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Warfighter exercises. As a Work Area Commander (WAC) you are assigned as part of a planning team for an exercise rotation from initial planning, through Mission Command Training (MCT) Seminar and Warfighter (WFX)/Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRX) completion and After Action Review process. As a WAC, assists the Exercise Contractor Point of Contact (CONPOC) senior planner with preparation of Opposing Force orders, Simulation Control Plans, and other contract deliverables in support of Mission Command Training Program Seminars, Warfighter, and Mission Rehearsal Exercises.

Participates as necessary in the Joint Exercise Life-Cycle (JELC) planning events, working side-by-side, with other members of the Exercise and Simulation Support Directorates and the Scenario Design Division to plan and execute an MCTP Exercise rotation starting with exercise planning team (EPT) coordination meetings locally, to initial Exercise planning and site surveys (IEP/SS), main exercise planning (MEP) and final exercise planning (FEP).

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree with 6 years ofexperience or Masters Degree with 4 years experience
* An Active DoDSecret Clearance
* Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine
* Highly proficient with MS Office suite ofsoftware (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Graduate degree
* US Army Commandand General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate LevelEducation (ILE)
* Previousexperience in computer assisted simulation training. Experienced in WARSIMsimulation.
* Two yearsexperience in design, planning, configuration, and conduct of large-scalecomputer simulation exercises
* Strong backgroundin OPFOR weapons systems and capabilities.
* Brigadeor higher staff officer experience
