Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Roles and Responsibilities :
* Hire, lead, mentor, train, retain and grow a team of managers and subcontract administrators
* Direct the solicitation, negotiation and administration of major cost reimbursement and FFP subcontracts in compliance with internal procedures and the FAR/DFAR
* Manage suppliers performance to meet technical cost and schedule requirements
* Develop internal and supplier relationships to foster successful supplier performance
* Brief leadership on supplier status, issues affecting program execution and necessary corrective actions
* Develop/implement comprehensive supplier management strategy ensuring on-time receipt of high quality products/services within budget

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications
bull;BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields with 8 years progressive aerospace/defense subcontracts/procurement experience OR a Masters rsquo; Degree with 7 years of experience
bull;3 years of experience as manager or lead
bull;Experience leading or managing change
bull;3 years experience managing the administration of FAR/DFARS subcontracts.
bull;Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance (clearance not required to start)
Preferred Qualifications
bull;Experience administrating or managing industrial construction contracts
bull;5 or more years for FAR amp; DFARS subcontract administration and / or management
bull;Professional Certifications in procurement, supply chain or program management
bull;Experience with Military Construction (MILCON)
