Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Project Manager to join the team. This position will be located in either Colorado Springs, CO or Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force rsquo;s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

* Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
* Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
* Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
* Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
* This position oversees and manages all aspects of the requirements program, and serves as the primary lead for program technical/non-technical requirement management.
* Lead team in support of requirement management.
* Oversee and manage operational aspects of new and ongoing projects to support program technical and non-technical requirements.
* Work as primary liaison between Integrated Product Team (IPT) stakeholders in support of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) and Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRL) development.
* Capture, track and manage prime and subcontract requirements and maintain 100% traceability of those requirements from the prime contract to the subcontract level.
* Interface with stakeholders to derive master contract requirements to support subcontract Request for Proposals (RFP).
* Trace master contract requirements to subordinate documents, ensuring compliance with issued contracts and specifications.
* Assessing project issues and assisting in developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

You 39;ll bring these qualifications:

* A Bachelor 39;s degree with a minimum 15 years of experience; or a Master 39;s degree with 13 years of experience.
* A minimim 6 years of experience with:
* Project management principles and execution of a large complex program.
* Microsoft Office suite.
* Using or teaching IBM Rationale Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).
* Consolidating stakeholder needs, across multiple IPTs to capture requirements for supplier flow down.
* An active Secret Security Clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

* Master rsquo;s Degree in applicable field.
* Proficiency in authoring SOW and SDRL programmatic templates capturing contract to subcontract flow down as well as identifying Prime only contract requirements.
* Experience developing Program Directives governance documents in support of requirements management.
* Experience in creating traceability between contract and subcontract SOW/SDRL requirement packages to include barren and orphan requirement identification/adjudication.
* Demonstrated leadership and experience leading requirements team in support of program goals.
* Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Capability to create and conduct high level briefings.
* Experience with high level customer engagement.
* Developing, implementing and update project schedules.
* Extensive previous experience working Department of Defense programs.
* Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience, ability to utilize them professionally through EMD and Production program phases.
* Agile Engineering principles and methodologies.
* Working knowledge of contract and subcontract methodologies.
