Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems ndash; Logistics and Modernization Supportability Engineering Manager 2, working with the Senior Logistics Supportability Engineering amp; Analysis Manager. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The Manager will lead a group of approximately 20-25 supportability engineers. This position is a hybrid role, consisting of direct support to programs and people management. Technical areas of responsibility include Design for Supportability, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Maintenance Planning and Supportability Assessment for the E2/C-2 programs.
In this role, you will be encouraged to:
* Be the single point of accountability for accomplishing program objectives for the team
* Coordinate and collaborate with Reliability/Maintainability and Modeling and Simulation Engineering to use unique skillsets to tackle sophisticated supportability issues
* Have a complete understanding of the systems engineering process as it applies to the development of an overall product support package
* Be able to communicate and provide mentorship on the implementation of Logistics Supportability Analysis standards such as MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-0007, MIL-HDBK-502, and TA-STD-0017
* Actively participate in the company rsquo;s technical leadership team to develop standard methodologies and advance the logistics supportability division across the AS sector
* Prepare and manage project schedule and budgets to include EVMS and prepare status reports on the health of the projects.
* Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.
* Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
* Provide management, guidance and development of the Logistics Supportability Engineering Team

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor rsquo;s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject area from an accredited institution and 5 +years of experience in supportability, logistics support analysis, and/or maintenance planning
* 3 + years of experience managing or directing a team in some capacity
* 3 + years of experience with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-0007, MIL-HDBK-502, and TA-STD-0017
* Must-have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters of Science degree
* Experience working on military programs
* Experience developing and coaching for leadership and performance
* Experience leading a large department in a matrix environment
* Experience with earned value management/EVMS
* Active DOD Secret clearance
