Overview

The Quality Assurance Representative inspects all new homes to make sure they meet Lennars new home standards. This position is responsible for providing the most complete home to the buyer and ensuring that the home is ready for move in once the QA and New Home Orientation process has been completed. CB ZR

Responsibilities

* Conduct detailed inspections of all new homes to ensure compliance with construction plans, basic code compliance, functionality and cosmetics which ensures the highest quality possible for a new homeowner
* Review all aspects of mechanical functions of the home as well as the cosmetics of the home, both throughout the interior and exterior of the home. Mechanical functions include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, doors and window operations, irrigation systems and HVAC systems. Cosmetics include, but are not limited to, paint, texture, caulk, fixtures properly mounted, masonry work, flat work, landscape and general proper appearance of the home
* Perform New Home Orientations for new home buyers and introduce the functionality of the home to the buyer
* Communicate with home buyers, team members, and management

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Computer literate with the ability to work with JD Edwards, Build Pro/Supply Pro, and Excel
* Perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines
* Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty
* Self-motivated with ability to work well under pressure

Physical Requirements:

Requires the ability to work eight hours and to stand for extended periods of time, climb a ladder, and walk around the exterior of homes. Also requires the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity, when operating a computer keyboard and calculator is required.
