Job Description
In this position, you will be part of Optane Backend (BE) Manufacturing Operations team of the Intel Optane Group (IOG) from Folsom, CA.
As the leader of Program Management Team, you will be a key contributor to IOG by delivering robust components and systems manufacturing operations and overall readiness for IOG Datacenter (DC) Persistent Memory (DCPMM) products from project planning through product end-of-life.
* A Technical Program Manager that defines the strategy and asks the right question while leading, program managing and delivering SSD product through PRQ/SRA providing timely sample to internal and external stakeholders and enabling factory capability, readiness and stability to support product launch till end of life with cost and quality.
* Directly manages both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers. Handles projects of moderate scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity.
* Plans/manages projects directly related to policies or general business operations to meet specific objectives or general goals. Has decision making authority at the project level.
* Leads the project team and is key interface to the project or contributors. Identifies and refines project objectives.
* Works on or delegates, as appropriate, problems/tasks in delivery of specific objectives or general goals.
* Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion. Interprets and applies controlling business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as judged appropriate.
* Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members.
* Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion.
* Creates/tracks/adjusts the project or program schedule. Assesses risks, identifies issues and develops solutions to efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining high quality standards. Monitors progress against schedule and takes appropriate remedial action.
* Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.
* Plans and schedules work to ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall project or program in timely manner.
* Influences and may set business unit or cross-organizational strategy.
* Creates and applies concepts for optimizing production relative to schedule, quality and cost requirements.
* Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor and above degree in relevant technical field
* 10+ years' experience in related engineering (Product development and Product manufacturing)
* 7 years experience in a Technical Project Management role
* 10 years of manufacturing background, Supply Chain Experience

* Strong program management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communications
* Self starter with ability to influence across several organizations
* Semiconductor Component and SSD Systems manufacturing or relevant product development experience desired
* Outsourced manufacturing experience desired
* Chinese language fluency
