Job Description

Logic Technology Development (LTD) is responsible for developing advanced silicon process technologies and high-volume silicon manufacturing. The TD Sort/Test Group supports electrical test on both wafer and the packaged units of test vehicles used to develop these technologies. The group supports all transistor node technologies including 10nm, 7nm, 5nm and beyond and works in the Sort, Class and Burn-In Test areas. Test development includes a variety of test circuits including PLL, IDV, RNG, thermal circuits, various IO's, fuse, SRAM, DRAM, ROM, RF, Scan, etc.

The successful candidate is responsible for all aspects of test development, including pattern and test development, pre-silicon validation and post-silicon debug. The candidate will work closely with Design, Design-Validation, Yield and Quality & Reliability engineers to define and validate test requirements. The successful candidate will also work both within the group and with customers to drive improvements to design for test, test methodology, and operations.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or equivalent field of studies.

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronic or circuit design or testing

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in

* Developing code (i.e. C++) or scripts (Perl, JSL, Python)

* Device characterization and instrumentation.
