The product development engineering PDE team sits at the cross-section of manufacturing design and quality at Intel. Our function is to trailblaze our new products designs and make sure all of our products meets Intels outgoing quality goals to our customers. The analog team within the PDE organization has the exciting challenges of creating test methodologies using the latest design for test DFT capabilities in the areas of IO interfaces, thermal and power delivery and performance. As a member of the analog PDE team for the data center product families, you will be at the forefront of pushing design and manufacturing envelops while delivering quality high-volume test content methods and validating the design of critical analog components of server CPU products.

In this role your responsibilities may include but not limited to:

* Evaluates develops and debugs complex test methods

* Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions

* Silicon debug and characterization of new products including working with platform level validation teams to make sure system to tester correlation is within the spec

* Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints

* Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and engineering judgment

* Ensures the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp

* Makes significant contributions to design development and validation of testability circuits

* Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment

* Tests validates modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification

* Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability

* Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience OR a master's Degree with 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related degree and experience in:

* Programming language or scripting in python or C/C++/C-Sharp

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experienced in driving ATE tester to support debug and characterization

* Experience with development and validation of analog and DFT circuits such as thermal and or

* power performance

* Experience in high volume manufacturing flows and statistical data analysis with JMP

* Knowledge of DTS Digital thermal sensor and any thermal related experience

* Strong software scripting and programming skills in Python, C/C++ or C-Sharp

* Knowledgeable in high volume manufacturing flows and statistical data analysis

* Experience in RTL test writing simulation and validation

* Understanding of circuits and logic design methodology

* Understanding of device physics
