AI and Deep Learning are driving a transformation in IoT vertical markets globally. Defect detection on industrial assembly lines, medical diagnosis in hospital equipment, and retail shelf stock detection all rely on doing inferencing and computer vision at the Edge. Intel's Edge.AI Developer Tools & Applications team is expanding our OpenVINO product line and is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team to drive software sales and growth across our portfolio.

We are part of the Internet of Things Group, which is a fast growing multi-billion-dollar business unit today. The industry is accelerating rapidly, and we are looking for the right team members to help drive our next wave of growth as an organization.

The Role:
The Business Development Manager will join a team of Business Development representatives, while partnering with technical marketing, product management, software engineering, and silicon sales representatives to establish the appropriate go-to-market strategy for our new product lines. You will have a start-up mentality combined with willingness to influence within a large organization.

Responsibilities include but, are not limited to:

Growing customer & developer user base of our product lines by developing business relationships with prospective customers and industry partners in leading IoT AI markets: Smart City, Healthcare, & Industrial.

Build a strong pipeline: identify and drive transformative customer and partner engagements.

Engage technical decision makers, industry influencers, policy makers, and business leaders of existing and potential customers to drive awareness and early adoption of Intel Edge.AI + OpenVINO software solutions.

Willingness to periodically travel worldwide to customer locations.

Soft Skills:

Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.

Willing to working with multi-cultural teams.

Strong inclusive collaboration skills and recognized for this by customers and internal partners.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field with 6+ years of industry experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in the following areas:

* Selling AI software and in technical sales or business development role.
* Taking early stage incubation businesses, building a strong pipeline, and driving fast revenue growth.
* Build and execute strategic sales plans.
* Leadership experience in a sales / business development organization
* Communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level and technical decision-makers.
* Software demonstrations to customers and partners.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
MBA is a plus.
