This position is for a module engineering role within the Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) group which is within Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD). Sort Development Module Engineers own and improve test equipment in order to enhance the quality reliability and manufacturability of sort testing equipment. As an STTD module engineer the candidate will be expected to understand and develop hardware capabilities for the test equipment, be able to construct and execute Designs of Experiment and perfect the sort process for release to highvolume manufacturing. The candidates responsibilities may include partnering with internal organizations and external vendors to develop the sort modules equipment. Planning and conducting experiments to qualify or test module and/or process capabilities. Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education statistical knowledge and problem solving tools. Meeting production quality and reliability requirements.

This is an entry level position and it will be compensated accordingly.

Knowledge andor experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork andor classes andor research andor relevant previous job andor internship experiences

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics or Electrical Engineering or Material Science or an equivalent Engineering degree

Preferred Requirements:
1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

* Design of Experiments (DOE)
* Hardware development
* Mechanical simulations
