Job Description
This is a 3-month internship position in Intel's Circuit Research Lab. The candidate will investigate and develop new circuit techniques for high-performance circuits to enable low-voltage, energy-efficient SoC circuit designs. The position entails leading-edge exploratory research as well as modeling, simulation, and design. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of digital circuits, high-performance arithmetic data-paths and memories, and the impact of variations in both logic and arrays, and will have experience with design and simulation tools. Behavioral traits for this position include; strong communication skills and have a desire to advance the state of the art in energy-efficient, high-performance digital circuit design.
Qualifications
The candidate must be currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in electrical engineering. Candidate must have experience in the following areas: -Experience in high-performance, energy-efficient and low-power circuit design. -The candidate must possess strong skills in digital circuit design and RTL development. Preferred skills and experience Strong skills in digital circuit design, DSP and machine learning, arithmetic/data-path, accelerators and in-memory/near-memory computing, low-voltage circuits and algorithm optimization are highly desirable. Familiarity with industry-standard circuit design and simulation tools is highly desirable.
