This role touches all business development and sales activity related to the Intel Geospatial platform, including the identification, nurturing and design win of target accounts and related ecosystem GTM partners. You have exposure to influence and guide our indirect and direct sales engagements to closure, as well as contribute to the business strategy or other projects as appropriate. You will act as a technical expert, consultant, analyst, and program account manager. You will create and execute on joint go-to-market sales plans with the channel, and lead conversations to cultivate new opportunities for direct accounts. You are passionate about our customers and being able to solve their problems.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Sales/Business Development and be a key contributor to the growth of the company (via software subscription services). Additionally, you will bring voice of the customer priorities and feedback from the field to our cross functional teammates to accelerate growth and value creation.

As a Field Sales Engineer, you will need to have:

* Strong Sales & Business Development experience within commercial sectors such as Utilities, Energy, Transportation, Telecom, and City/State Governments; and understand top industry stakeholder drivers along with the digital transformation trends.
* Experience and technical aptitude in geospatial services, data analytics and enterprise software implementations. Knowledge of geospatial based applications, big data management and SaaS experience is a big plus.
* Strong communication skills, effective listening, articulate and ability to understand customer needs and mobilize teams to achieve customer success even when the solution is not clearly defined/built. Candidate should exhibit strong self-initiative and the ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and synthesize into clear actions to drive results.
* Demonstrated ability to navigate a large corporate environment, with the ability to collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders in an organization (data scientists, operations/ maintenance management, business managers, executives)
* Integrated technical, business, market and environmental conditions into a compelling solution that meets the needs of a customer
* Be a team player, possess a roll your sleeves up and get work done in a smart way, and be customer obsessed to find the win/win scenarios. Strong ability to work independently as well as influence others in a team environment.
* Strong analytical, problem solving skills, with the ability to handle high degrees of tasks and deadline pressure while maintaining high attention to detail and quality. Demonstrated track record of problem solving with creativity and out-of-box thinking
* Been responsible for revenue performance to plan, goal setting, and identifying ways to maximize recurring revenue for the business
* Managed and grown relationships with enterprise accounts, ecosystem partners, service providers, distributors and VAR's.
* Proven track record of success and increased responsibility

Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences or Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

* 5+ years in Sales and/or Customer Solutions Management
* 5+ years in Enterprise Account Management
* 5+ years driving success in an early stage start-up
* 5+ years of experience with Customer Relationship Management tools and sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Geospatial related sales and software solution services
* Direct experience in Customer Buying Process from POC's to multi-million-dollar contract management and deployments
* Platform solution sales and support experience
* Direct and Indirect channel management experience
