Intel's Microsoft Technology Center team (MTC) is seeking a OS Software Engineer who will be responsible for architecture, exploration, development, debug and enabling of system software enhancements for Server Operating systems with a focus on cloud and virtualization. You will have an opportunity to engage with key customers and Intel experts to shape future Intel products. Come join our fearless team of risk takers, bar raisers and game changers!
At Bachelors level this position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors with 3+ years of experience or MS in Computer Science, computer engineering or electrical engineering or a related field with 3 years' experience
* 2+ years of Strong experience in C/C++, Software Development, Driver development, Data Structures and Algorithms, Software Optimization and Debugging
* 2+ years of significant project work in Computer Architecture, System Software & Operating System internals
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with:
* Intel Virtualization technologies
* Kernel debugging
* Knowledge of hypervisor or virtualization technologies
* Driver development & Windows Driver Framework
