Our Engineers are highly valued and are relied on to provide technical leadership in their area of expertise. They are one of the first to be consulted for any major building expansion or modification. Early in the project, they develop site feasibility studies, assess supplier proposals to optimize cost of ownership, and ensure regulatory compliance of a new project. They later develop more detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and discipline engineers. During detailed design and construction performed by our world-class supply chain partners, our Engineers serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution.

Qualifications

A successful candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications complement the minimum requirements and will be used to identify top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Structural Engineering

* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial or Semiconductor engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Licensed Engineer in Oregon or able to obtain a license in Oregon

* Familiar with National and local Codes, Standards, and Guidelines applicable to Semiconductor Manufacturing Facilities (ex: SEMI, IBC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, ASME)

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in:

* Equipment selection and sizing (ex: piping, conductors, process/mech equipment [pumps, fans, motors], material selection/compatibility, seismic restraints)

* Hazard and Operability Risk Assessments (HAZOP)

* Start-up/Commissioning Procedures

* Prototype development experience (design of experiments, general fabrication, 3D printing, PLC design and programming)

* Engineering Programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, Pipeflo, EasyPower, and RISA
