As part of the Emerging Growth Incubation (EGI) Group, which is the start-up accelerator of Intel, Intel Geospatial (intelgeospatial.com) is a cloud geovisual data management platform featuring multisource 3D data and AI-powered analytics. From data gathered via satellites, manned aircraft, drones, cars and other devices, the platform supports advanced 3D visualization and a marketplace of AI powered analytics applications. As part of our aggressive growth, we are looking for a Director Data Acquisition who will report into the GM for the business. We're looking for someone who has a deep experience in the geospatial industry in business, product, marketing or end-user roles, ability to get things done, and the ability to grow a team over time. You will collaborate with sales, product managers, engineering, and business operations to ensure success. * Leadership role in developing strategic data partnerships to support target customers in energy, utilities, smart cities & beyond.

* Partnering with sales, product management and R&D to ensure flawless planning & execution.

* Working with product management to create and evolve go-to-market business models for data

* Developing new segments and use cases for Intel Geospatial.

* Supporting and influencing the overall goals and vision for the business.

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree minimum

Masters degree preferred

10 years in geospatial related fields with strong understanding of core concepts market landscape and technology trends

Prior experience with photogrammetry Lidar and other data types GIS products

5 years in product management in the geospatial industry

2 years working in or with vertical segments like energy utilities smart cities and insurance
