In this position, you will be part of the Java Platform Optimizations team in Developer Software Engineering (DSE). DSE is responsible for delivering industry leading developer software for Intel's diverse architectures. We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in C/C++/Java and Compiler technology . Successful candidate will be working on Java runtime for Intel Platforms. The responsibilities include Java runtime, just-in-time compiler and library optimizations for Intel platforms showcasing leading performance on state-of-the art Java Virtual Machine.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors with 6+ years or Masters with 4+ years of PhD with 2+ years in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Candidate must have 5+ years of industry or academic experience in the following areas:

* Software design/development experience using C/C++/Java
* Data structures and algorithms
* Computer/system architecture
* Performance analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Exposure to OpenJDK, Runtime and just-in-time compiler technology is a big plus.
