Ignite Austin is the third Ignite location, and part of its growing global presence following the 1st site opened in Tel-Aviv in June 2019 and 2nd site in Munich, Germany.

The operations manager will report to the Managing Director of the startup program and be responsible for the day to day operation of the program and its site. This will require interfacing and coordination a broad set of people - Intel supporting functions, startups, entrepreneurs, investors, internal and external mentors, vendors and partners. The operations manager will facilitate and participate in all phases of the program - from building the program plan, selecting the startups, running the 12 weeks programs, organizing events and roadshows, etc. The operations manager will be on site to represent Intel in all activities.

The program will be located in the heart of startup ecosystem in Austin and the Ops manager is expected to be there most of the week. The ideal candidate will have strong program managementoperational skills, with love and passion for the startup community.

Qualifications

You must possess the below education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree and 6+ years OR Master's degree and 4+ years OR PhD and 2+ years industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

* 4+ years of experience with operations management - ability to manage programs/projects, operational activities.

* This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

* Relationship building ability with a large variety of audiences.

* Ability to represent Intel in external settings and role model culture to external stakeholders.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize amongst them.

* Strong execution skills with attention to details.

* Strong ability to form collaboration with internal and external partners and service providers.

* Demonstrate innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.

* Capability of operating in a fast paced, highly demanding, challenging work environment.

* Previous engagement in the Austin startup ecosystem advantage.

* Previous experience in startup growth program.
