Intel is seeking a candidate for an internship in our System Firmware Products (SFP) Group developing security firmware for Intel products.
As a member of a team, you will work closely with and take direction from the lead engineer(s) to deliver high quality firmware solutions on client platforms.
Some of the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Develop platform firmware, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products
* Develop and Integrate firmware on post and pre silicon environment
* Develop firmware profiling testing hooks for new client security feature
* Create tools and automation to improve firmware development efficiency

The ideal candidate should exhibit the below behavior skills:

* Ability to multitask and solve complex firmware problems
* Eager to learn and learn fast

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Master's/PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
6+ months of experience with 1or more of the following:

* C and C++
* BIOS/Firmware development
* Computer architecture and operating system

Preferred Qualifications:
Assembly x86 programming is plus.
Debug methodologies, Visual Studio, code versioning Tool chain.
Project experience - software development, debug, validation.
