The Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) Team has an opportunity. In GTCHE we are responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and we are looking for a SoC Design Engineer to join our team where you will use state of the art digital design tools and flows and will be responsible for various stages of SoC design.

You will help us with the following responsibilities:

* Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development.
* Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
* Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.
* Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
* Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
* Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
* Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.
* May also review vendor capability to support development.

Qualifications

Minimum skills and qualifications experience that will get you noticed:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Your experience should be in the following:

* In logic design and hardware modeling in System Verilog
* Experience with SOC integration flows and Computer Architecture
* Excellent debug skills
* Good scripting and/or programming expertise with TCL, Perl, UNIX shells, or C/ C++

Preferred skills and qualifications that will make you stand out:

* Methodology development experience
* Graphics hardware experience
