The Sales Support Professional 2 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. The Sales Support Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Role responsibilities will be influenced by each account client and each account management team and will include their culture, expectations, complexity, size and visibility.
Responsibilities
The Sales Support Professional 2 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or legacy National Account customers. Processes sales forms, client requests, reporting; creates marketing material; submits sponsorship requests and facilitates open enrollment meetings. Drafts sales documentations, proposals, reports, and correspondence. Reviews reporting to ensure accuracy and correct calculations to compile and report metrics. Performs background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales team activities. Answers internal and external inquiries. Communicates with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of renewals, requests; and to resolve customer complaints. Includes attending and possibly facilitating meetings internally and externally. Serves as a back up to the account team when necessary.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 3 or more years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products to include: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
* Active State Health and Life Licenses or ability to obtain after hire
* This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
* Ability to travel (once COVID restrictions have been lifted) 25%
