The Senior IT Business Performance/Process Improvement Professional monitors and measures relevant performance metrics to assess the performance of IT resources and optimizes performance through process improvement activities. The Senior IT Business Performance/Process Improvement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director, IT Operations, the Group IT Planning, Reporting, and Communications Professional will be an instrumental role in the transformation and improvement of our Group IT organization. The role will focus on improving our operational productivity and planning, streamlining initiative and operational reporting requirements, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on leader level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

Objectives of this Role

* Coordinate planning and communication of key IT operational strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental leads
* Assist and communicate with Group IT executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
* Plan, review, and design, reporting and communication cadences to ensure the Group IT leadership team functions efficiently and effectively
* Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

* Support organizational daily operations through collaboration with Group IT leadership, coordinating the completion of IT portion of MT Huddle update
* Ensure artifacts are prepared and complete for Monthly IT Operating Committee
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of Insurance and Pharmacy Monthly status report with Group IT Leadership.
* Support IT strategy team through the development and distribution of updates to the technology strategy to Group IT associates and key business partners.
* Develop and prepare, through collaboration with Group IT Leadership, monthly/quarterly information update for all Group IT associates and key business partners.
* Coordinate, plan and prepare Thought Leadership and Learning sessions and opportunities for Group IT associates.
* Build and develop relationships with all leaders for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational ceremonies
* Serve as subject matter expert in preparation, planning and distribution of Group IT communications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* 5 or more years of technical experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
* Experience with Microsoft office suite
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
* Prior experience in the health solutions industry
* Experience with resource management and managing direct reports (matrixed or direct reports)
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle
* PMP certification
