The Process Improvement Professional will perform a vast number of tasks daily as needed. This professional will resolve complex inquiries and field production issues as they arise. The professional may work directly with all business areas and all job levels at Humana to resolve system or process issues as needed. The professional may be the business lead for projects including, but not limited to upgrades, implementations, process improvements, merger & acquisition activities, or enhancements. The responsibilities of this role will change and grow consistently.

Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Professional 2 ensures that the customer support process for the SAP Fieldglass application is running smoothly. The Professional resolves escalated inquiries, trains and communicates with end users to explain system processes, triages system issues and works to research root causes of system defects. The Professional researces best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Manages process improvement projects and monitors and tests production fixes, upgrades and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* Less than 5 years of technical experience
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

* SAP Fieldglass experience
* 1-3 years Procurement experience
