Description
The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
The Data and Reporting Professional 2 integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (at least 2 year experience with SQL, Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Advanced Excel, Advanced Access and PowerPoint and data reporting)
* 2 or more years of experience in SAS, QlikView and Power BI
* Experience drafting/developing requirements (technical, business specific language/technical documentation)
* Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools
* Experience in managed care (Pharmacy) or health care sector
* Strong Business Acumen, ability to learn business areas quickly
* Strong communication skills: verbal and written
* Work At Home requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
Additional information
* Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime, needed to work some weekends.
* Training: Virtual training 4-6 weeks
