Job Description

The AA will serve as part of a travel team within the Group's Support Branch and will be responsible for processing travel for deployments. Duties range from obtaining visas, to booking travel and processing travel vouchers upon completion of deployment. Requirements for travel documentation are fluid and change frequently. The AA will be responsible for interpreting these requirements and processing requests in an accurate and timely manner. The AA will serve as the primary POC for !Cs traveling within their area of responsibility (AOR) and will interact with !Cs in person, by phone and by email. This will require a positive, energetic, proactive and engaging personality, and the ability to operate in a high-paced office environment while ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and on time. The candidate will work off of established SOPs, but will also need to work with team members to critically develop solutions to changing requirements and non-routine cases. AA must be able to de-conflict competing requirements and apply critical thinking to address complex problems, but also be willing to ask questions, seek guidance from teammates, and resolve tasks in a timely and a complete manner. The AA will be expected to work independently and as part of a team. As a member of the travel team, AA will be primarily responsible for their AOR, but will also serve as backup to other AORs. The AA will also interact daily in-person with group staff and contractors and by phone and email with customers and support providers. Stellar verbal/written communication and customer service skills are critical. The candidate's preferred hours are 0800 to 1600 hours, but there is some flexibility. Occasional travel to other buildings within WMA will be required -a Sponsor vehicle will be available for transportation.
