GDIT is seeking talented and motivated information technology (IT) professionals to support the Army National Guard's (ARNG's) National Capital Region Director of Information Management (NCR DOIM) as a Common Access Card (CAC) / Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Local Registration Authority (LRA). The NCR DOIM is responsible for the operation, maintenance, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the IT services and infrastructure that support over 3,000 end users at the ARNG headquarters in Arlington, VA as well as other locations in the National Capital Region (NCR). This includes supporting the ARNG NCR Campus Area Network (CAN), Local Area Network (LAN), server and storage infrastructure, end user devices to include virtual desktop infrastructure, and audio/visual equipment. Major support requirements include network administration, service desk, network and IT engineering, audio and video services to include telephony, telecommunications management, asset management, equipment maintenance and disposition, cybersecurity, and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
The NCR DOIM uses ITIL best practices as a framework for a mature IT Service Management model.
Key responsibilities include:
* Perform all Local Registration Authority services for NIPRNet and
SIPRNet CAC/PKI Infrastructure in assigned area
* Meet production and quality quotas
* Support IA CAC/PKI Helpdesk
* Collect and presents data for briefings and presentations
* Maintain accurate records and total accountability
* Respond courteously and accurately to customers
Successful candidates will:
* Have thorough understanding of AR 25-1, AR 25-2, DODD 8500.1, DODI 8500.2, Certificate Policy, and Certification Practice Statements(CPS)
* Understand networks and Cybersecurity
* Read, understand, and comply with directives
* Work well on a team of contractors and Government personnel.
* Have a high level of attention to detail in both repetitive and new administrative and network tasks.
* Communicate clearly and be customer focused.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior DoD experience as an LRA or RA
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Information Assurance and Computing Environment certs) such as CompTIA Security + CE
- Active DoD SECRET clearance at start
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or equivalent + 4-6 yrs related experience
- Graduate of DISA LRA course
