Job Description
GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer - Team Lead at Manassas, VA. This position requires someone with a current and active TS/SCI clearance. MUST HAVE COMING IN THE DOOR: DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or Level 3 compliant with WIN10 Certification with either Microsoft MD-100 or MD-101 and CompTIA Security+.
Requirements
As the Network Engineer - Team Lead you will supervise a team of six members.
* Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
* Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
* Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
* Coordinates hardware and software acquisition.
* Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks.
* Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
* BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
* MUST HAVE: DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or Level 3 compliant with WIN10 Certification with either Microsoft MD-100 or MD-101 and CompTIA Security+.
* MUST HAVE: a current and active TS/SCI clearance.
