GDIT has an immediate opportunity for a Field Service Technician in Guam with an active SSBI or equivalent clearance investigation. The selected candidate will support ONE-Net;the premier U.S. Navy Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) network that provides enterprise level support at multiple locations across the globe. Functional Responsibilities
* Ability to provide 8x5 On Site and 24x7 On Call Support.
* Answers customer questions and resolves issues. Refers other issues/questions to appropriate personnel/service area/manager for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
* Assists in instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
* Assists in maintaining network hardware and systems; troubleshoots network and hardware issues or problems; researches, analyzes, isolates and resolves errors.
* Configures and maintains computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment.
* Installs network hardware.
* Maintains computer-based systems, local area networks, or communication systems.
* Analysis, installation and maintenance of computer based systems and their components, local area nets, local area nets, and communications systems.
* Performs basic testing of routers and switches as appropriate.
* Performs duties and functions at the direction of the ONE-NET Operations Manager or site lead.
* Proven ability to work independently or under only general direction.
* Provides on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing and repairing of systems and equipment.
* Provides technical field support to ONE-Net customers.

Requirements
* Ability to work as a member of a team of field service engineers in day to day operations.
* Experience living and working in an OCONUS location.
* Experience supporting US DoD or US Navy customers and organizations.
* Experience working with networksystems software and hardware, data, voice or video.
* Flexibility in adapting to and functioning in demanding and fluid environments or situations.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills.
* Interpersonal and communications skills to interact with customers and team members.
* Skilled in time, priority and task management.
* Strong field Support experience supporting a DoD clients or customers.

Required Certifications
* DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I Baseline Certification
* Windows 10 Operating System Certification
* CCNA OR higher Certification
