Job Description

Provisioner to support Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) Provisioning requirements and other pertinent Provisioning Management Systems for US Navy ships and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

Be responsible for SSTD Provisioning support using ICAPs, iPDM, CDMD-OA, CIDMS and other pertinent Logistics Management Systems.

Contributes and may provide guidance to the completion of significant logistics projects.

Conducts and may provide guidance for the supplier audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to client's quality, cost and delivery performance standards.

Performs demand forecasting and distribution planning. May provide guidance to less-experienced Logistics Analysts.

Resolves complex supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability.

Identifies complex logistics opportunities for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.

Writes and edits the logistics policy and procedures.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in any field with five (5) years of professional experience with provisioning and logistics supporting US Navy Ships (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

Previous US Navy ASW background preferred, but not required
