SUMMARY
The primary function of the Inventory Control Lead is to support the Inventory Control Supervisor and Manager, ensuring the processes and procedures of the department flows smoothly and efficiently. Shift is Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Provide assistance to Inventory Control associates concerning general problems or questions
Under the direction of management/supervisor, implement coaching programs for Inventory Control associates
Work closely with other departments in the distribution / refurbishing center to eliminate / reduce inventory errors
Cycle count products in order to provide accurate information to multiple departments
Responsible for moving products to different assigned locations as needed
Perform visual validation of merchandise to description and package details
Verify product is located in the correct area by checking several locations throughout the Distribution Center
Run a series of inventory reports and perform several detailed analyses

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to lift and carry boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be at least 18 years old and present state-required proof of age documents
Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in basic English
Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have at least one year of work experience, prefer experience in a distribution center
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Intermediate knowledge related to data analysis and problem solving including identifying and solving issues
Ability to communicate effectively with others, with varying responsibilities and work areas, using spoken and written English
Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications specifically, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
Proficient ability to coach, motivate and communicate as a leader
Ability to understand and comply with all GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, those related to attendance, safety, conflict of interest, confidentiality, honesty and ethical conduct
