Seeking an IT Asset manager with a proven track record of developing, maintaining and improving policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that help the enterprise effectively manage and optimize IT Assets. Working with the ITAM Director, this person will be responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term strategic management IT Assets (software and hardware) throughout the enterprise.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

* 6 years of related experience
* Extensive knowledge of IT Asset Management principles and practices
* Understanding of major vendor (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) software and licensing metrics
* Excellent organization skills
* Experienced with IT Asset audits and documentation
* Experience in IT-related financial planning
* IT Asset Management tool experience (ServiceNow, Flexera, etc.)

Desired Experiences

* A bachelors degree in IT, business management or related field
* At least 5 years of IT Asset Management experience
* ServiceNow Asset Management experience
* ServiceNow Discovery experience

Responsibilities

* Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or directly supervises support staff.
* Planning, proactively monitoring and recording IT Asset related data throughout the IT Asset lifecycle such as software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements and vendor contracts in order to ensure compliance.
* Understands and explores potential opportunities to maximize unused or partially used assets to achieve full efficiencies and ROI from investments.
* Partnering with IT leadership, Sourcing & Finance to develop and manage IT Asset strategies for the enterprise.
* Propose and execute recommendations for cost optimization, process improvement, tools and/or technologies to advance the maturity of ITAM.
* Supporting vendor true-up, audits and asset renewal projects by gaining agreement on timelines, deliverables and effectively escalating issues.
* Ability to build and cultivate trusted cross-functional relationships to advance the maturity of the asst management program.
* Maintaining IT Asset Management (software and hardware) tools including accurate inventory, models, entitlements, costs, end of life, etc.
