Recruiting Operations Director

Facebooks Scaled Programs & Experiences organization enables recruiting through delivering exceptional candidate experiences at scale around the world. We are looking for a leader to develop and deliver an operational portfolio within the organization. You will have the responsibility to develop and manage the scaling of our resourcing model, operationalize our 18-24 month vision into key global initiatives while running the global project portfolio and other run the business operational initiatives. Your focus will be on enhancing our ability to drive process consistency throughout the organization while building a culture fueled through continuous learning, career growth and delivery of exceptional candidate experiences. You will partner closely with finance, recruiting products and the leadership team to influence our collective roadmap and manage the build of our global narrative to key recruiting stakeholders. Ideal candidates are those with experience in bringing ideas from early concept stages through design, development, validation, and scale. Candidates must have a demonstrated knowledge of budget and resource management. Cross functional partnership is a key competency for this role thus candidates must have good interpersonal and communication skills along with a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional interconnectedness and deliverables to enable the realization of our long-term strategy. Candidates must have keen focus on driving business results, ability to work in ambiguous/less defined environments, and a strong willingness to collaborate and optimize overall business objectives.

Recruiting Operations Director Responsibilities

* Drive strategy planning processes across the SPE Recruiting function including development of long-term strategic plans & roadmaps in partnership with the SPE Leadership team

* Lead overall planning for SPE Operations portfolio, partnering with Finance, Project Managers, and the Recruiting Operations Leadership teams. Execute on change management and communication principles to ensure successful delivery

* Represent SPE priorities and effectively influence leaders and key partners to gain alignment around cross functional requirements and strategies

* Develop SPE capacity planning aligned to annual strategy planning process. This includes the alignment of resources and headcount to key priority areas and operationalizing recruiting efforts in partnership with the Recruiting for Recruiting team

* Build and deliver a scaled resource model inclusive of a sizable contingent worker supplier strategy and in support of teams with seasonal workloads

* Lead overall project management & operations across the SPE Recruiting Team by leading communications, coordination efforts, planning and execution across our teams and business partners

* Ensure project roles and responsibilities are clear across immediate team as well as buy-in & alignment across all SPE Recruiting and cross-functional partners

* Prepare project correspondence and presentations for status reports, executive updates, annual planning cycles, key team meetings, etc.

* Coordinate across Recruiting Insights partners to develop a global strategy and roadmap for data dashboards to support SPE operations

* Partner with HR to design and deploy programs to support the learning, development and community of SPE employees with an emphasis on inclusion

* Support the design and delivery of regular communications and training for new processes, tools and policies

* Understand the current processes and tools environment and execute action plans to achieve improved efficiencies, resource optimization and controls

* Manage process documentation and provide on-going support, including Change Management & communications for new processes rolled out

Minimum Qualifications

* 12+ years experience leading Project Management, Process Improvement strategy and execution

* Experience leading and growing teams from strategy through to operational execution

* B.A. or B.S. degree in business, HR, finance, operations, or equivalent experience

* Experience managing and developing cross functional teams

* Leadership and interpersonal experience including building relationships with cross-functional teams

* Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing operational improvements through automation and process redesign to enable scalability and velocity

* Analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal experience

* Experience breaking down complex processes and identifying key pain points in order to deliver business improvements at local, regional and global levels

* Experience collaborating with and influence cross-functional teams to set objectives and produce results
