Job Description

Facebook is seeking a forward thinking experienced Information Security professional to join our Data Center Security Team. Facebook is at the leading edge of the global data center industry both in terms of how data centers are designed and operated. This person should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and flexibility will be key to their success. We seek an Information Security professional with advanced, hands-on technical skills in designing, supporting, and assessing the Information Security Posture of Building Management Systems (BMS) and various PLC devices. The successful candidate should have working knowledge and experience in the following core areas: Information Security Engineering, Vulnerability Assessments, Hardening Devices, Network Engineering and Identity and Access Management. This position is full-time.

Data Center Security Specialist - Building Management Systems Responsibilities

* Serve as an expert in security issues related to BMS and PLC Systems.

* Evaluate existing and new technologies, work with key cross functional partners to establish security standards for Industrial Controls Systems and supporting procedures.

* Drive cross-functional team initiatives to perform information security assessments, identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce risk on various systems including embedded devices, PLC systems, Windows, Linux, and VMWare.

* Identify improvements to processes and workflows, related to the security of Industrial Control Systems implemented in the Data Centers.

* Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally to validate that processes and procedures align with program requirements.

* Lead work investigating complex technical matters on a global scale, and spanning multiple disciplines such as networking, Windows, Linux, embedded systems, authentication, system hardening and other areas.

* Establish & leverage metrics and define exceptions to implement process improvements and controls at scale.

* Educate partners on standards and policies, drive overall security awareness and program communication.

* Ability to travel up to 30% required.

Minimum Qualifications

* BS or BA in technical field or commensurate experience

* 5+ years of Information Security experience

* Experience analyzing complex workflows and support/enhance requirements-based Information Security controls within the Data Centers

* Experience in communicating security risks and plans to address them to stakeholders and senior leadership

* Experience in securing Industrial Control Systems

* Experience in communicating security risks and plans to address them to stakeholders and senior leadership.

* Experience building relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders

Preferred Qualifications

* CISSP, CISA, GIAC-GSNA, or GIAC-GCCC

* Experience participating in complex, information security projects in an enterprise, data center environment

* Experience with data center environment
