Job Description

The Portfolio Manager will enable Facebook to deliver against our recruiting strategy. Your work will spread far and wide, both across Recruiting and across a vast number of cross functional partners. Ultimately, impacting the way that we find, hire and achieve Facebooks ambitions. Focused on our most critical and complex areas, you will persuade and influence, create and innovate, and use structured, analytical and strategic thinking to solve problems and find solutions where there is no predefined way of doing things. We are looking for an individual to work at the intersection of strategy, program management, technology implementation and process innovation. Your role will gain an end-to-end understanding across portfolios and your success will be in bringing together our Recruiting organization to deliver significant impact in this area.

Portfolio Manager Responsibilities

* Drive a cross-functional team to deliver against recruiting strategy

* Input into long-term strategic thinking and provide direct strategic and problem solving support across all initiatives

* Collaborate closely through all stages of a strategy execution lifecycle

* analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases

* Ensure that success of the overall portfolio by partnering to drive adoption, communication, training and change management across various initiatives

* Help manage the overall strategy, course correct projects that are not on track and advise on readiness to launch continuously driving forward momentum

* Using data and research to monitor and support strategic decision-making and ongoing measurement and continual improvement

* Provide day-to-day oversight and quality assurance for programs and tasks, anticipating, escalating, and resolving issues

* Facilitate regular cross-functional interactions to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines and status. Examples of cross functional partners include product teams, compliance, legal, brand, change management

* Bring a strong sense of execution and ownership

* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, if needed

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years of consulting or program management experience

* 4+ years of experience in roles requiring critical thinking and program management to drive strategy and change

* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders with highly varied background and contexts in collaborating and working with them on an ongoing basis

* Proven communication experience fostering trusted working relationships

* Experience working cross-functionally and holding people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

* Experience working across various levels of an organization to drive and influence decisions

* Proven strategic thinking skills and approach to solving problems and identifying creative solutions

* Proven experience in having to prioritize across key areas by focusing on the largest impact areas of opportunity while adapting to new challenges and shifting priorities

* Proven communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership skills

* Experience presenting organizational and process flow content to audiences

* Proven attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with business process management, workflow, and life cycle management

* Experience driving internal product decisions

* Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal directions who can hit the ground running

* Familiarity with various project management tools and lifecycle approaches

* Experience with enterprise product development and systems implementations

* Experience in working with third parties to deliver

* Experience implementing technology solutions to support compliance requirements

* Knowledge of HR practices in the market and regulatory changes
