As such, we are searching for an established Director of Product Management to take us to one billion people playing games by delivering innovative game-playing experiences and unlocking opportunities for our game-developer ecosystem. With the recent launch of our cloud gaming platform we are set up to significantly expand the games people can play and developers can build on Facebook. Cloud gaming helps shed the technical limitations of our past while bringing us back to our roots of delivering games that are free, social and accessible to as many people as possible. This Director of Product Management role will cover our Game Play product, platform and ecosystem. We require a superstar of product experience, building platforms, and with the ability to partner closely on our end-to-end business and market strategy.
Director of Product Management, Game Play Responsibilities
* Leading the Product Teamdefining vision, strategy and roadmaps
* Working in close collaboration with our cross-functional partners to take our gaming experiences, product and platform to new heights
* Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
* Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leaders
* Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution
* Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
* Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
* Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
* Understand Facebooks strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
* Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
* Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
Minimum Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design
* 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
* 8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
* Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
* Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a consumer focused technology company
* Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
* Worked deeply on mass-market consumer product experiences
* Entertainment/Gaming experience and mass-market consumer product experience
