Job Description

We are seeking a Manager of Global Supply Chain to manage across compute, storage and network commercial electronics, data center equipment, services and materials, and internet connectivity assets, helping to connect our service to people around the planet. Underlying this infrastructure engine are great people, with bold ideas, who question the norm and deliver solutions to the unique problems of delivering unrivaled infrastructure at hyper-scale. Operational excellence, bench strength, and people development are the heartbeat of our organization. To achieve transformational improvement in these three areas, we are organized by function. Following the SCOR model, our core functions are planning, sourcing, make, and deliver. Supporting these core functions are two shared functions Engineering and Services.

Manager, Global Supply Chain Responsibilities

* Lead and grow global manufacturing teams

* develop an organizational vision for the future of supply chain at Facebook.

* Design, develop and implement a commercial and operational learning and development roadmap for our team.

* Ensure the timely delivery of storage, compute and network gear to our worldwide network of Data Center, Network Caching and Backbone points of consumption.

* Develop OEM, ODM, JDM and CM manufacturing strategies that address the unique needs of supply chain and manufacturing at hyperscale.

* Own and lead the active management of manufacturing partner relationships at the C-suite level.

* Actively manage cost models and achieve better-than-world class cost performance for manufacturing and associated services.

* Lead the new product prototyping, pilot and mass production launch of custom new hardware SKUs.

* Partner with Operations Engineering to ensure world class levels of hardware quality both at the component and system level.

* Partner with Supply Chain Services to design, develop and deploy elastic supply chain models that ensure we are insulated from geopolitical impacts (ex. Tariffs).

* Work across product teams, IT and partner teams to co-develop a world class, integrated IT architecture and deliver tools, systems and processes to decrease work friction and improve team member productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

* Track record of identifying, developing and promoting talent.

* Experience delivering operational excellence.

* Cross functional partnering experience.

* Experience questioning the norm and experience thinking out-of-bounds and delivering results.

* Experience manufacturing knowledge in multiple manufacturing models.

* Experience transforming business systems, models and achieving results.

* Working knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, planning systems and product development cycles.

* 10+ years experience working in an executive role with global responsibility.
