People on Central Analytics empower Facebooks Global Operations organization to be self-sufficient in tactical decision-making and drive operations strategy through objective analysis. Our key partners are embedded data teams, core functions on the business side, and Data Engineering/Data Science on the Integrity side. We are responsible for providing accurate, reliable and accessible business metrics as well as contextualizing them in operational performance with research and advanced analysis. We are looking for Analytics Program Managers who share our passion for helping make Facebook a safe place for people and businesses to connect across the world. The right candidate will be comfortable in a fast-moving organization, excited to collaborate and focused on positively impacting the experience of a large scale global workforce and the entire Facebook Community. They possess a strong ability to understand organizational strategy and structure, data infrastructure, and analyses and leverage that understanding to drive organizational alignment and completion of complex data initiatives. This position will be supporting a global team.

Analytics Program Manager Responsibilities

* Apply quantitative skills to see beyond the numbers and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for Global Operations

* Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities

* Analyze data, conduct research and synthesize feedback into plans, processes and playbooks

* Ensure broad adoption and alignment of the teams initiatives through strong cross functional collaboration and understanding of the organizations strategic data infra and analysis needs

* Drive demand forecasting, scenario planning, and prioritization to optimize the community and business impact of our operational expenditures

Minimum Qualifications

* B.A. or B.S. degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent training

* 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)

* Understanding and exposure to statistical analysis and data infrastructure development concepts and challenges

* Experience explaining technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences and experience translating business objectives into actionable analyses

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Math, Statistics)

* Experience thinking strategically, structurally solving product problems, and driving execution

* Experience with distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)

* Experience developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework

* Experience releasing code into production

* Experience writing testable code
