In 2021, we expect to rapidly scale availability of the business API through a series of key feature launches, and are seeking a passionate, thoughtful Marketing Communications Manager to lead the go-to-market implementation and narrative development. You will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally to translate the core messaging strategy across channels and audiences, defining and implementing GTM plans for initiative launches, and helping all customers understand the value of the WhatsApp business API. The ideal candidate will have a strong business marketing background and is a savvy storyteller, able to develop simple, compelling messaging that scales for multiple audiences. This role requires strong collaboration skills as projects will require regular cross-team and cross-functional work. You will be expected to define strategies based on business goals and customer insights, and apply a deep understanding of channel and country-level market dynamics, and the right mix of brand and product knowledge to deliver effective marketing plans that truly move the needle. A results-oriented mindset with a track record of focusing on high impact activities & driving initiatives through to execution is key to success. This role will report to the Integrated Business Marketing Lead.
Marketing Communications Manager (WhatsApp) Responsibilities
* Develop customer-centric product positioning and messaging that can scale to multiple business audiences. These cohesive, inspiring narratives should clearly articulate our value proposition
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop GTM plans and drive execution for new feature launches based on audience insights and segmentation, bridging brand and product marketing
* Create in-depth marketing collateral to support feature launches across audiences, including PowerPoint decks, fact sheets, playbooks, customer stories, newsletters, how-to content and videos for new solutions
* Lead web content strategy for key audiences. Strategize ongoing website changes for a compelling experience that engages our audiences and leads to measurable action. Leverage latest SEO trends and ensure the website ranks for optimal keywords
* Experiment, by developing clear hypotheses, running A/B in-market tests, using data analytics to interpret test results, rolling out test wins, and implementing improvements to drive results
* Track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new opportunity areas
Minimum Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in marketing communications or product marketing
* Experience creating messaging and content for multiple audiences
* Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
* Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams
* BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong facilitation and influencing skills to be effective in a highly matrixed, distributed and fast-moving environment
