Our Data Engineering Team manages the entire lifecycle of the data ecosystem at Facebook, ultimately generating the insights needed to make important decisions that continuously improve our products serving 3 billion+ users around the world. As a Recruiting Manager for our Data Engineering Team, you will own and implement recruiting strategies to effectively drive growth for this team. Beyond this, you will lead a team of staffing professionals focused on driving recruitment at scale. Much of your primary responsibilities will include managing a team of recruiters and/or sourcers through the end to end interview process, while working closely with our Data Engineering Leaders to create world class recruiting practices and strategy.

Recruiting Manager, Data Engineering Responsibilities

* Role model recruiting and sourcing best practices, and help team members achieve their career aspirations through mentorship and coaching

* Drive accountability amongst recruiters and sourcers on meeting milestones and key productivity metrics

* Onboard and train new recruiters and sourcers

* Provide scalable solutions to Facebook business objectives by compiling, analyzing, and capturing insights from the recruiting funnel

* Identify recruiting trends and leverage knowledge, data, and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing/closing strategies

* Define, design, and implement recruiting programs to meet our teams hiring targets which includes mapping the talent landscape, managing internal profile calibrations, overseeing referrals and planning recruiting events among other initiatives

* Promote optimal candidate experience best practices

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years of recruiting experience

* 4+ years experience managing a team of sourcers and/or recruiters

* Experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports and developing senior individual contributors

* Experience delivering large projects, process improvements and managing through change

* Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams

* Experience providing a consultative recruiting approach with internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience leading technical sourcing or recruiting teams

* Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports
