Marketing Manager, Creator Monetization (Instagram)

Job Description

Instagram's Creator Marketing team seeks an experienced individual to drive marketing programs that help creators turn their passion into a living.
In this role, you will support our growing portfolio of creator monetization products and help demonstrate the holistic value of Instagram to a creator audience. You will be responsible for understanding our global creator ecosystem and developing positioning, messaging & marketing materials to support key product launches. You will be able to design, execute and activate strategies across a global partnerships organization and scale marketing strategies to the broader creator community. You will have a strong ability to bring products to life through great storytelling, and can engage Creator audiences through compelling communications. If you have a passion for creators and technology, and you're willing to roll up your sleeves to develop creative marketing programs and campaigns to drive adoption of products that help creators make a living, we'd love to meet you.
A high level of communication skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across matrixed, cross-functional teams. Previous experience working across a global organization that moves quickly and flexing for the needs of different markets would be ideal.

Marketing Manager, Creator Monetization (Instagram) Responsibilities

* Drive the development and marketing strategy for web, email and other creator scaled channels

* Execute marketing materials and content for use across multiple channels

* Lead go-to-market execution for global campaigns, programs and tentpole moments

* Oversee programs and activations in priority markets - initiatives that can be localized and used by Partnerships teams to inspire, educate and engage our Creator and Partnerships audience

* Curate market and global trends that will inform and inspire strategies, teams and global marketing channels

* Work with cross-functional counterparts including Partnerships, Sales, Communications and Product to align strategy, programs, messaging and resources

* Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies to support creator monetization products through global campaigns, programs, and tentpole moments that drive results at each stage of the marketing funnel

* Develop partner enablement for our global media partnerships team including strategic positioning, messaging, marketing materials, case studies & thought leadership

* Lead cross-functional channel marketing teams across social, email, web & events to scale marketing programs to the broader creator community

* Lead internationalization of marketing efforts to drive ongoing adoption and awareness for Instagram among the global creator community, taking into account regional nuance and needs of each market

* Lead analysis and reporting of marketing initiatives to determine most efficient awareness and conversion drivers, and optimize across channels

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BS degree (or equivalent professional experience)

* 5+ years experience in marketing/product marketing at a tech, media, entertainment company or social/media agency

* Experience developing product positioning and key messages to support product adoption, including marketing materials such as decks, one pagers & case studies

* Experience leading go-to-market strategy for product launches and scaled digital marketing campaigns

* Experience in or knowledge of the creator economy and digital creator ecosystem

* Background in communicating product or platform information into compelling stories

* Collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast paced, scrappy environment with experience thriving amidst ambiguity while ensuring executional excellence

* Understanding of how creators monetize their content, particularly ad revenue sharing, fan funding & subscriptions

* Collaboration and communication skills, with experience building relationships with matrixed, cross-functional teams

* Experience supporting or working with a large sales or partnerships organization in an enablement capacity

* Experience with localization and working with global teams

* Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

* Experience working on a technical product or platform
