F2 (Facebook Financial) is a product group at Facebook focused on building products to make payments and financial services simpler, for everyone and secure across our apps. Facebook is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, and creative leader to oversee Business Operations and FP&A for F2, supporting our payments and financial services offerings across Facebooks family of apps. The role is in the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. FBPs mission is to enable Facebook to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. This leader will serve as a financial adviser to F2 leadership, including the Head of F2, and will share in owning business goals and results where appropriate. The position will manage a lean, highly efficient team that prides itself on being quantitative and data-oriented. This is a highly cross-functional role, involving close partnership across a number of finance functions (including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, etc.) as well as business teams (including Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Partnerships, Policy and Legal, etc.) Responsibilities will include leading forecasting and planning, developing strategic and operational insights for the business, and modeling business scenarios to guide product and business decisions. Candidates should be exceptional leaders who are strong analytical and strategic thinkers, effective collaborators who can bring different perspectives together, have a bias toward action, and are passionate about payments and financial services.

Finance Director, F2 (Facebook Financial) Responsibilities

* Develop high-trust partnerships with leaders across F2 and Facebook, and in particular, build strong partnership across the Facebook companys Finance organization to bring well-rounded finance solutions to the F2 organization

* Analyze current business performance, monitor and manage liabilities and risk, assess external market conditions, and guide development of financial forecasts

* Lead complex, cross-functional strategic and operational projects

* Develop a long range plan that supports F2's strategic vision as well as the companys long-term mission and financial future

* Build and manage a budget that supports F2's operating needs and sets clearly defined short-term goals and operational plans for the next year

* Develop and track operational and financial metrics

* Oversee the quarterly close reporting that demonstrates a deep understanding of F2 and provides clear explanations and accountability for variances

* Recruit, onboard and develop/mentor an exceptional F2 Finance Planning team

Minimum Qualifications

* 12+ years of experience in FP&A, economic/financial consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations and/or analytics

* Experience synthesizing strategic insights and problem-solving individually or in a group setting

* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a complex, fast-changing environment

* Experience leading and developing teams

* Experience partnering deeply and effectively with a wide array of cross-functional teams

* Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

* Senior strategic finance role in a Payments and/or Financial Services business

* BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
