Regional Space Planner

Global Facilities & Real Estate is a multi-disciplinary global team that provides and operates innovative work environments for Facebook to achieve its mission - to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. We are looking for a technically minded, strategic Space Planner to support our west region locations. In this role, you will work closely with a highly cross-functional team across Facilities, Transactions, Project Management, Corporate Finance, HR, and site leadership. The Regional Space Planner reports directly to the Americas Space Planning lead, as part of the Global Planning team.

Regional Space Planner Responsibilities

* Management and occupancy planning for your real estate portfolio strategy at a regional level.

* Prep and presentation of complex plans and strategies to all levels within the organization.

* Stakeholder engagement and interfacing with varying audiences (i.e. cross-functional team members and site leadership).

* Providing oversight and direction to vendor partners.

* Collect, analyze, and evaluate data from varying sources.

* Produce monthly and quarterly reporting for management and stakeholders.

* Manage headcount forecasts at site-by-site level.

* Develop of real estate scenarios and stack plans.

* Support the Director of Real Estate in long-term demand planning.

* Work with stakeholders to: Capture headcount changes/additions, how they impact existing allocations, and coordinate with multiple service streams in response, or negotiate and develop site strategy/stack plans and communicate decisioning, and respond to unique situations with a service-oriented mindset.

* Work with cross-functional partners to deliver strategically grounded, world-class planning projects at a regional and global level.

* Understand and action feedback appropriately from teammates and stakeholders.

* Problem solve based on historical data and logic.

* Bring creative solutions to the table.

* Have an appetite to push the envelope on global data solutions.

* Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demanding situations.

* Maintain discretion and confidentiality on all space plans and real estate dealings.

* Regional travel within the Americas in support of planning.

Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years in related Space or Occupancy Planning role. Proven stakeholder/cross-functional management skill.

* Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-national environment.

* Proficiency in Archibus or similar CAFM software and Scenario Planning tools.

* Proficiency in MS Office (with a focus in Excel).

* Working knowledge of basic floor plans, architectural drawings, buildings, and campus environments.

* Highly developed negotiation skills, requiring a customer engagement aspect.

* Proven communication and presentation skill.

* Experience multitasking and working independently.

* Flexibility in time zone work, experience adjusting work hours accordingly.
