Job Description

The Silicon Infrastructure team is the grease that keeps the wheels of the Silicon group turning. Its importance is hard to overstate. This team needs to enable flows ranging from digital design, design for testability, design verification, architecture and firmware to regression and compute resource management. It needs to provide scalable solutions to enable 100s of engineers in multiple sites and utilize many thousands of compute cores. The Infrastructure team curates internally and externally developed IP, proliferates winning methodologies across teams, builds and maintains the release and time capsule systems.

Silicon Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities

* Participate in the development of a multiyear infrastructure plan for a rapidly growing silicon organization

* Build state-of-the-art silicon infrastructure to enable mass production of multiple silicon products

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar with 2+ years of experience

* Experience with ASIC design flows

* Experience in scripting using Python, Perl or TCL

Preferred Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in Silicon Infrastructure Engineering

* 2+ years of experience in CAD/EDA tool/flow/methodology setup

* Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: digital design, design verification, SoC integration, SoC architecture, design for testability, firmware development, physical design, Linux based system administration, grid and license management, regression flow, build and release of moderately complex projects
