Product Marketing Manager, Ads and Data Privacy Strategy

Job Description

Facebook seeks a product marketing leader to guide transformative projects across our Advertising and Business Products group. This leader will drive our organizations multi-disciplinary response to high priority ads and privacy issues, helping to shape the future of our advertising platform. Facebook's Ads products impact how people live, what people buy, and which brands and businesses they develop relationships with. All this must be done with a deep and constantly upgrading sense of responsibility.

Traits in a successful leader will be exceptional problem solving, collaborative partnership and influence, technical acuity, accountability and follow-through. This Product Marketing Manager will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Policy, Communications, and other marketers. She or he must thrive as a leader within cross-functional teams, exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills, and have a track record of influencing product strategy and managing complex, fast-paced projects.

Product Marketing Manager, Ads and Data Privacy Strategy Responsibilities

* Inform product strategy in partnership with product management, engineering, and product marketing partners across multiple product areas

* Tackle ambiguous, complex and high-priority problems to create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems

* Identify immediate response as well as long-term opportunities for Ads & Business Products based on a strategic understanding of the market both for businesses and consumers

* Be able to identify ambiguity and work to systematically drive clarity through strategic framing and stakeholder alignment

* Lead comprehensive market assessment and requirements including impact analysis and competitive benchmarking in collaboration with Business Product Marketing partners

* Represent internal and external stakeholders, including qualitative and quantitative feedback

* Lead and coordinate comprehensive go-to-market strategy including sales and partner materials in collaboration with Business Product Marketing partners

* Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/executional responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

* 12+ years professional experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or internet technology

* Experience working on a technical product that impacts policy, privacy, or crisis response

* Experience influencing and communicating cross-functionally and with management at all levels

* Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels

* Analytical, data-driven decision-making experience

* Communicator with experience simplifying complex concepts

* BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA degree

* Experience working with sensitive or regulated products
