The Strategic Partnering Program (SPP) is a critical component in achieving Exelon ITs operational strategies and financial goals. It is a shift toward industry leading best practice in the management of IT service providers, alignment to business focused outcomes and cost optimized service delivery. Management and oversight of this program is conducted by the Strategic Vendor Management Office (SVMO).

The IT SVMO Performance Manager has the unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of internal and external organizations. The IT SVMO Performance Manager provides valuable input to the design and implementation of foundational processes. The role allows the individual to be a force for change in how Exelon IT operates as part of the Office of the CIO.

The IT SVMO Performance Manager is a functional expert in the development, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of performance measures to enable leadership to understand process performance, report progress against targets (SLAs) and proactively manage goal delivery in alignment with the performance expectations of the organization. This role utilizes operational performance data to characterize opportunities for improvement and works in partnership with internal teams to drive process optimization and efficiency.

The role of the IT SVMO Performance Manager is to provide a holistic approach to performance within the SVMO including the evolution of qualitative and quantitative performance measures. This role develops associated practices, procedures, tools and other applications associated with the delivery of the services by the strategic partners. This role will work in connection with internal and external teams to develop and establish metric/performance reporting, track performance and ensure ongoing compliance with service levels.

The IT SVMO Performance Manager will use business acumen, analytic and interpersonal skills to implement, advance and champion the Strategic Partnering Program. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Governance and Performance within the Strategic Vendor Management Office.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Minimum:

Preferred:

* Bachelors degree and at least 8 years of experience in IT, Finance, Accounting and/or a business area performing service or vendor management activities or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Demonstrated experience performing vendor management.
* Demonstrated experience using interpersonal skills to manage conflict resolution.
* Demonstrated experience managing performance through metrics and/or service levels.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and root cause identification skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.

* Graduate degree
* Demonstrated experience with Outsourcing agreements and associated operational processes
* Financial acumen
* Contractual acumen and negotiation skills
