Dow's Global Purchasing Organization has exciting and challenging fulltime opportunities available for individuals who are graduating in late 2020 or in Spring / Summer 2021 with a Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Communications who are interested in developing their career within a large global companys Purchasing function.

Dows Corporate Headquarters in Midland, MI. Fulltime opportunities will be in Midland, MI or at our Sourcing Center in Houston, TX.

Purchasing is responsible for acquiring all goods and services that keep Dow operating. We partner with Dows businesses and operations teams to develop supply strategies for goods and services while delivering measurable financial value to Dow.

Working within the Purchasing function provides the ability to understand how these service lines and functions interact and support each other within Dow, which results in a well-rounded perspective of Dow and its Purchasing function.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Responsible for buying the goods and services that keep Dow running. Partners with Dow businesses and operations sites to set strategies for supply. Manages strategic supplier relationships and negotiates, executes and implements commercial agreements drive best-in-class value across the world.

Procure to Pay (PtP) Specialist

Partners with Strategic Sourcing and Dow sites and businesses to purchase and pay for the goods and services required to support Dow operations globally. Executes various work processes from issuing purchase orders to making the final payment for the goods and services delivered by suppliers.

Diamond System Solutions (DSS) Specialist

Systems experts responsible for developing and implementing tools and innovative solutions that simplify user experience for both Purchasing and internal Dow partners who work with Purchasing. Responsible for the global ERP system and continuously delivering innovative solutions to consistently deliver best in class solutions.

Minimum requirements:

* Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Business related major, such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Communications, etc.
* Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 2.700 (on a 4.000 scale) is preferred.

A minimum requirement for the U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
