Job Title: Pipe Bender

Location: Richmond, VA

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a pipe bender to assist in the production of refrigerated display cases.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

* Read and comprehend work orders and blueprints; identify part numbers.
* Cut and bend metal piping to work order specifications.
* Preform checks to equipment is in safe and working order; report discrepancies to department leadership.
* Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

What are the basic qualifications?

* HS Diploma/GED.
* Able to use/read a tape measurer accurately to 1/16.
* Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure (including whole numbers, fractions and decimals).

What are the preferred qualifications?

* Three months experience bending metal to work order specifications.
* Experience with/working knowledge of refrigerated display cases or HVAC systems.

Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements

* Must be able to operate tools and perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
* May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
* Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs).
* Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
