Are you a self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and have experience in Credit & Collection and Account Payable roles?

In this role youll be an integral part of the North American Hub financial controlling team and a key contributor to support the companys financial reporting and analysis for Mexico market.

Youll have an opportunity to work with talented financial professionals in the US and globally, including our BPO teams at Lodz & Uruguay, and have a direct impact on the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.

You should possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred) with a minimum of 5 years experience. Mexico companys knowledge a plus.

Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities

Work with the controller on monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including within the ERP (SAP) and in the corporate global reporting tool.

Ensure that general ledger information accurately reflects financial performance and position for allocated accounts, taxes and areas.

Take responsibility for selected Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, payroll, taxes and accounts payable functions and processes.

Review financial information to identify potential issues early and to take action on timely manner.

Oversee general ledger and accounts payable activities performed by BPO provider in those areas.

Ensure financial controls are followed and support regulatory compliance (SOX and others) related to the companys operations.

Identify of, advocate for, and implement potential process improvements and take an active role in continuously improving companys processes.

Work with other finance teams withing the North American Hub and globally to share and promote best practices and to facilitate harmonization of processes, including support BPO & MX Operations teams as needed.

Required Skills

Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills.

Ability to understand and analyze financial statements and general ledger accounts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently.

Understanding Accounts Payable processes.

Good communication skills, including cross-functional and international.

Solid experience with GL functions, month end close processes and taxes.

MX GAAP & Taxes experience is a plus.
