Responsible for receiving of inbound freight, order picking, packaging, and shipping to meet on time delivery expectations of our customers and partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Coordinates all logistics for outbound shipments with approved carriers and/or forwarding agents to ensure on time deliveries.
* Acts as primary contact for all logistics activities within and our other partners.
* Responsible for maintaining low cost/high quality freight carriers for all logistical needs.
* Picks and packs orders and then processing through shipment to meet on time delivery requirements.
* Distributes, as needed all shipping documentation to other departments.
* Responsible for the preparation of proper export/import shipping documentation to ensure on time delivery of products, reduce delivery delays, or risks of export/import violations with countries or other government agencies.
* Responsible to maintain all inventory locations within Fulfillment Service in accordance with minimum stocking levels and inventory handling policies.
* Alerts Supervisor or Department Director in supervisors absents when inventory levels reach established reorder points.
* Acts as Junior Buyer as needed to assist in purchasing of inventory.
* Maintains the warehouse in a neat and clean order, disposing of trash or other unneeded materials daily.
* Responsible for reordering of all packaging related materials i.e. boxes, tape, wrappings, or other materials used in the shipping process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in Logistics Management dealing in Domestic and International freight.
* Requires 1-2 years of experience in U.S. Import and Export compliance laws with a working knowledge of U.S. Export Compliance (CFR-15) & U.S Customs (CFR-19) regulations.
* Must have 1-2 years experience in inventory management.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
* The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

* Must have working knowledge and experience using e-mail, Internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Knowledge of Order Processing software, Inventory Software, Manufacturing software, and Database software.
