Job Description:
This is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Warehouse Associate position starting at $15.06/ Hour (Plus 5% premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts) in Sanford, NC.
Under general supervision, performs the material handling and warehouse functions required in receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts, materials, prime product, equipment and supplies at BCP facilities.
Physical requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods; Ability to perform repetitive operations; Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to operate various forklifts and prime product safely.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in Industrial/Commercial/Residential Cleaning and Sanitation
and Ability to run associated equipment
- Able to effectively communicate with management and supply acquisition
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule depending on department needs
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, JOB DUTIES & BEHAVIORS
Performs the warehousing functions required with the processing, storing, moving, of parts, materials, supplies and
operates various types of material movement equipment.
Ability to Follow Standard Work
Must be able to work in a highly structured environment, strictly adhering to provided standard work instructions
Ability to follow and understand source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders and package parts as necessary.
Ability to train others in Standard Work
Follows documented procedures standard work, as defined in a variety of source documents to verity part numbers, part locations and quantities.
Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Working Together
Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
Contributing team member
Must have effective communications skills
