Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. The Consumer and Retail (C&R) group within Corporate and Investment Banking is seeking an Analyst to join its Charlotte office.

We provide junior bankers with the ability to work across sub-sectors to deliver a broad experience across all products, and we foster a fun and inclusive culture. Analysts are an integral part of the Investment Banking team. They are directly involved in the design, origination, and structuring of investment banking products and services for existing and prospective clients. Specific Analyst responsibilities include: creating detailed financial models used for valuation (DCF, LBO, merger plans, accretion/dilution, comparable company and transaction analysis); preparing marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions and board presentations; and conducting extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business units risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications
* 1+ year of capital markets industry experience; or 2+ years of financial services industry experience

Job Expectations
* Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
* Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
